Isabel De Pedro is one of the leading designers in the Spanish fashion scene. She was born in Bilbao in 1952 and first began working in fashion under the tutorage of Catalan designer Rafael Tous Giner. Her potential soon began to shine through as her t-shirt designs caught the eye of fashion critics, while her jeans were loved by various Spanish celebrities. Very quickly, she rose to the top of the ladder and now owns the label she first began working at over 30 years ago.
Isabel De Pedro's focus is often on the arts, with cinema, literature and painting often being explored in her collections. Many of her collections have been categorized by expressing the ideas of a whole artistic movement. She uses a great deal of illustration in her pieces in order to represent the art she is exploring; De Pedro is also well known for using lycra and figure-hugging designs to accentuate the female figure.

Her popularity is unquestionable, with approximately 400 different boutiques offering her pieces in Spain alone. The globalisation of the brand has also meant a greater focus on other countries; her latest collections have shown this and proved a great success.
